Student Participation

LIHE encourages students to take an active role in the Institute. There are number of ways in which students can engage actively around the Institute.

Student Association

Students who would like to participate can do so by joining LIHE’s Student Advisory Group (SAG). The SAG is created with the aim to discuss all issues related to the student experience and improving education at the institute through collaboration with staff. SAG will meet at least once per teaching period, come up with resolutions or actions arising as well as implement and communicate them to all students.

Students who are interested to participate in the committee can submit an expression of interest regarding membership. Applicants will be interviewed by the Dean and Student Support Manager prior to selection. One member of the SAG will be elected to act as a Student Representative to represent the committee and students in the Institute Teaching and Learning Committee.
